It has been a couple of weeks since my last blog.  I will take this opportunity to update you on a few things that have been going on.

Last week saw the start of the GCSE examinations with the Welsh Short Course paper.  The way learners responded to this was great and it seemed that many learners were putting their all into making sure they get the best result possible.  I look forward to seeing this continue over the coming weeks.

As you will know from my previous blogs the school is determined to ensure that learners develop excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills.  Some learners this week participated in a challenging series of Literacy and Numeracy events supported by @RGC1404.  Learners had a fantastic time and really did develop their Literacy and Numeracy skills as well as having a great time.

As many of you will be aware there was a Parents Evening for Year Seven.  It was good to hear how well the year group are doing and how much progress they are making.  This parents evening also had one of the highest levels of attendance from parents.  Together we can ‘Dare to Achieve’ and make a difference for each child.
