Awards and Transition.

This week I am going to leave the pictures to share the great things that have been going on in school this week.  It has been a really busy week and learning, as always, has been at the centre of everything that has been done.

As part of our transition programme we have taken all the learners from our Primary schools to our Forest School.  They have had a fantastic time and it has been a great opportunity for them to get to know us and us to get to know them.  We are all really looking forward to welcoming them in the new academic year.

Learners have been involved in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activities this week.  They have worked hard and shown some really good knowledge, skills and understanding.  They also had great fun !!

We entered the National F1 competition this year for the first time with two teams.  They were fantastic and won prizes for the fastest car.   This is the start of the journey I am sure and we will be working hard to build up a great team to rival all schools.

This week the school was one of eleven schools across the whole of Wales recognised for their work developing an International dimension to the work in the school.
